More Landscaping Work

Weeding on 80 degree days a couple of weeks ago I had to be careful not to "over do it". But LOOK at all the greatness I accomplished! First picture is of the typical spring dandelion takeover! Then all my landscaping areas - at the front gate and then the entrance to the house. I planted over 60 plants - wave petunias, pansies and vinca (4th picture blue/purple flower). Soon they will all fill in.

Andrew also worked on getting his Lilacs in the front yard - putting weed mat and manure around them. This also helps with mowing and weed wacking.

THEN the tent caterpillars (yes same ones that cause all the foal deaths) are out of control this year; as the tradition goes we torched the little guys. So crispy worms for the blog readers:
