Building the Barn and Arena

We had to do some serious excavating to level an area for the arena and the barn. They brought up 50+ dump truck loads of dirt from the pasture to raise and level the area. The strange patio and some poorly designed concrete driveway bunkers were buried in the hole they created from all the dirt they removed. However, all of the "heavy traffic" did a wonderful job of packing down the hard clay to create a wonderful foundation for both the barn and the arena.

And of course that was only the beginning...now we need stalls and a tack room.
