I had no idea it had been since Christmas since I updated the blog! We have been busy, but are doing well. Andrew, tore ligaments in his hand and had surgery at the end of December. I wouldn't let him drive with one hand in that contraption the first 6 weeks; thank you to his co-workers for helping me out by giving him rides. He is just now getting back to doing things like changing diapers, yard work, tractor driving, etc.
Dean is doing great! Running, jumping, talking, playing and understanding more every day. He loves to go to the barn to help me wash buckets (anything that has to do with the water hose), pet and sit on Denny Crane and Vinny. Today he 'helped' me with the drill and hammer fix the fence. Yesterday he 'used' an adjustable wrench and screwdriver to put together his new tricycle. He has not quite figured out how to pedal his new trike, but he's changed the oil (anytime he tips his vehicles over we say he's changing the oil) many times.
Uncle Blake has been visiting weekly and he babysits! He's always getting something new for Dean - last week it was 750lbs of sand for his new sandbox!! We made a temporary sandbox on the deck with just 2 bags of sand; Dean loves his sandbox! Uncle Blake come back so we can make the 'real' sandbox.
