New Carpet

We all loved (past tense) the new carpet. We had some installation issues - this carpet does not seam well and then there were other issues...This was Mohawk SmartStrand - which isn't so 'smart'. Mohawk advertises that all you have to do is clean pet stains with water and they will come right up. Well the odor does, but it leaves rings on the carpet. Stanley Steamer guy said that the urine changed the dye in the carpet. So we are going through a bureaucratic process with Lowes (Thank you Becky from Lowes you get an A+ for your service and help) to get a credit and get Newer New Carpet. Does anyone have any carpet suggestions with pets, kids and farm? I do love the dark brown so we will stick with that.
