Oh my goodness! It has been since February!! After this evening please look back through all posts since December - I'm adding updates on the date that they occurred and still had some Christmas photos that hadn't made it on here!!
We are doing great! Dean started eating baby rice cereal at 4 months. Then graduated to baby oatmeal. At 6 months (May) we started him on veggies. I've fed him each type for 4 days each, typically in the morning - sweet potatoes, avocado, peas then most recently carrots (big favorite!). Just Saturday his first fruit pears. Green beans are next. He still gets a mix of rice and oatmeal (typically in milk) in the evening. This is not only following Peditrician's orders, but also my research.
Just two weeks ago he cut two teeth at the same time. Had a runny nose and was a little fussy. We found a homeopathic remedy - Camilla. Camilla is a liquid that comes in very small individual vials that he drinks. Within 30 seconds he is calmed and happy again. If this doesn't work long enough I just give him infant acetaminophen.
Today he crawled - or at least as close to crawling as he's been! He'd been rolling around quite fast and getting everywhere but now he's gotten more efficient and effective (especially at running me around!).
